I HIGHLY recommend Made In the Shade! We couldn't be happier with our new window treatments, and the entire process was a great experience. Sam was accommodating and patient with me as I was trying to determine the best fit for our home. So there was a lot of back and forth, but he never made me feel pressured to make a decision. Kari was very efficient in sending the quotes and answering questions. The install was seamless, and the installer (Silas) was very friendly and professional. And the cost was budget friendly (I definitely shopped around)! You can't go wrong with Made In the Shade.

Steve and Sam could not have been nicer. After we remodeled our 1982 future retirement home (which was stuck in 1982!), we needed new window treatments. They answered my website request in a timely manner and quickly made an appointment. They came to our home with loads of samples and listened to my needs (and wants!). They then made some suggestions on what would work well. When I went over my budget with what I picked, Sam took a lot of time pulling samples for me that would put me back into my desired budget. In the end, I loved the natural-look blinds so much that I stretched my budget! The process involved two visits to the house and a visit by me to their shop. Yes, I took my time and looked at lots of samples! They supported me every step of the way and helped guide me when I got stuck. Beyond their great knowledge of window treatments, they are just all-around nice guys. This was evident in their sweetness with my two dogs (I asked before they came if they minded dogs and they were totally fine!). They even bring Steve's dogs to the shop and sometimes on calls (but the dogs stay in the air-conditioned truck on home visits). The blinds came in quickly, in the time frame indicated. The independent installer, David, was also wonderful. A hard-working young man who called to schedule, came when he said he would, and worked efficiently. We did have one blind that had an issue with the lift, and Steve and Sam came out right away to assess. It was determined to need replacement and that was done very quickly as well. My husband and I are very happy with the entire process and love our new blinds! There are options to order at big-box stores, but in the end, you will spend a similar amount and may not get the same quality. You certainly won't get the customer service! Just the fact that they accurately measured for me was such a value-added benefit. We are happy to recommend Made in the Shade Wimberley and Steve & Sam anytime!

Made in the Shade Wimberley did a great job on my dining room and master bedroom curtains. We had a length issue from the manufacturer, and Sam and his team corrected immediately and ensured I was happy with the final product. Very happy customer. Highly recommend!
