We are a blended family with nearly grown children, thrilled to have the opportunity to help you transform your house into your dream home. We absolutely love projects and are very driven, results-oriented people. We love the impact such a small project like installing new shades, shutters, blinds, or drapery has on the homeowners we work with. We’ve spent the past 27 years as paramedics serving our community and we’re so excited to be living out our dreams in this next chapter, working on projects that will help you fall in love with your home all over again. You may be thinking that we “just do window treatments,” but window treatments have a dramatic effect on the overall look and feel of a space. Made In The Shade of North Central Florida just completed an install of my homes window covers. From the beginning when I met Marti to the end, when Shane installed my Blinds and roller shades I have been very impressed. I am happy to come across such a nice couple that makes you feel like family. They are honest, straightforward, and are a valuable resource. We had Made in the Shade install a remote controlled shade on our patio doors yesterday (5/29/25)- from the moment Trisha their design consultant first came to our house to when Chis - their installer arrived yesterday, we were so impressed with their knowledge and professionalism and the quality of their product. I enjoyed speaking with Trisha who worked with us on deciding the style and color and with Chris the installer who totally had complete knowledge and expertise of the shade we chose. It was a seamless process and we are thrilled with the results. Thank you Made in the Shade!

We are so pleased with our new kitchen shutter. It looks so much better than the old and heavy roman shade that was there. The wood shutter blends perfectly with our existing kitchen cabinets too. Making it look like it was always part of that area. Marti & Shane provided wonderful insight, advice and service. They were also great communicators from start to finish on this project.
