Wendy Weisner is the owner and operator of Made in the Shade, Nashville. Wendy has always had a passion for real estate, fixer-uppers, and making a house look and feel like a home, so Made in the Shade was a perfect fit when looking for her next entrepreneurial endeavor. “Having fixed up seven homes on my own, I understand how important it is to have people you can rely on, that show up on time, and that deliver a great quality product. It seems almost impossible to find these days, but it’s the business rules I live by. After 20 years in corporate sales and 13 owning my own business, you learn there is nothing more important than excellent customer service. I can’t imagine running my business any other way. On top of that, I love the depth and quality of the Made in the Shade product lines. You don’t have to sell anything. It sells itself. I am so excited to be in Nashville, Davidson County, and Nolansville and Brentwood as well. I get to see so many amazing homes and even the drives there are wonderful. The customers have such varied tastes and it’s fun working with all of them. What a great career!” Wendy is a transplant to Nashville from Charleston, SC and lives with her rescued Golden Retriever, Walker and mini Aussie Dude, Cash. When she’s not working, you may find her hiking, at a local festival, exploring new restaurants, working on her fixer upper, or spending time with friends.
