Thank you for visiting Made in the Shade Lafayette! Alyson has lived in Lafayette and the surrounding area for over four decades. Marcus visited Lafayette 10 years ago from North Carolina and never returned to the Tar Heel state! After you visit Cajun country and experience our culture, food, community and hospitality, you can’t simply leave! While building our home a couple of years ago, someone told me that “your light fixtures are the crown jewels of your home”. Though I do agree, I’d have to go a step further in saying your windows and how they are dressed will set the stage for the performance! We are proud to serve you and provide exceptional service for your next window treatment project.

Alyson and Marc were wonderful to work with! They are knowledgeable, insightful, and walked me through every step from start to finish. Alyson has a great eye for design, and Marc is the installation king! We got fabric roman shades, natural shades, and plantation shutters for our new build, and every one is top quality. Also, their service is top notch! I highly recommend Made in the Shade to anyone looking for window coverings for their home.
