LuXout Shades is part of LuXout Products, Inc. headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. We have been making stage curtains since 1948, started dry cleaning residential draperies in 1967 and began making window treatments in 1982 as a drapery workroom to the Trade. We ceased dry cleaning draperies in 2013 to focus on our shade production. As a "to the trade" workroom we have learned how important quality, integrity and reliability are to our trade customers. We used this understanding of the trade business to apply to our shade manufacturing business.

I just love these shades! After placing my order the shades were produced fairly quickly. I had a huge variety of fabrics and options to browse and sample to obtain the look I was going for. When I opened the box, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the fabric and fell in love with it all over again as it was a perfect compliment to my living room decor. It has been about a month since install and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I just love how I have the option to enjoy the sunlight while still enjoying the aesthetics of the shades. Also, the blackout shades help tremendously to block the glare while enjoying a movie. The shades were pretty easy to install and I especially liked the chain safety feature to help keep children safe. Great Job LuXout!

As a designer, I love the fact that LuXout Shades has one of the largest selections of decorative blackout fabrics on the market. In fact I came to LuXout after finding it is carrying a patterned fabric one of my vendors had dropped. I also like the pull chain feature in LuXout's Motion shades. The updated chain actually has a clean, contemporary look and the numerous pull styles are guaranteed to fit any decor. It seems somewhat redundant to have a pull chain in addition to the remote AND phone App, but then I know the shade will work even if the remote went MIA or wifi is down! Last but not least, the Motion line is rechargeable via micro USB, which allows its motorized shades to be installed practically anywhere. It certainly makes life a lot easier when motorized shades are needed and electrical work is not an option.
